THINK ABOUT ACCESSORIES
|
If
there are any acessories that you would like on your cycle or wish to
upgrade features this can be done at the build up stage. This may then
be cheaper than adding it at a later date. Some things to think about
are
Saddle
Upgrade to puncture protection tyres or inner tubes
Cycle computer
Prop stand
Carrier
Luggage
|
|
THINK ABOUT TYRE OF CYCLE
|
Before
purchasing a new cycle think about what you are wanting / wishing to
use the cycle for. There may be a different type of cycle thats more
suitable for your use.
Touring cycle = touring
Hybrid = perfect for carrying loads around town and on short trips
If you are riding off roads you MAY require a (mtb)Mountain Bike however
think about if you require front suspension, no suspension or dual
suspension. The suspension on a cycle CAN make it comfier however it CAN
also slow your traveling speed
|
|
SIZE UP DONT BUY BLIND
|
Always
size the cycle before purchsing. Even if its for a presemnt for a child
ect. It is sometimes surprising what cycle will best suit a child and
you can often purchase a larger cycle and get more years growth out of
it
